Meghna Punjabi
Meghna Punjabi is a biomedical engineer and Mumbai university topper of the year 2004 from Thadomal Shahani engineering college, Bandra west.
Her journey is very fascinating. After completing graduation she joined Jaslok Hospital as a biomedical engineer and served the health care industry for three years. Then in 2007, she took up a teaching job as an assistant professor of the biomedical engineering department in Watumull Institute, Worli.
Due to her friendly nature and great communication skills, she immediately became a favorite teacher of all students and 0developed a great rapport with them.
Herewith the help of students and fellow colleagues Meghna started a state-level inter collegiate technical festival known as WBC- Watumull Bio Convergence. This festival soon gained lots of popularity all over Mumbai and Watumull Institute came into the limelight due to this festival. From 2009 to 2015 Meghna Punjabi was the whole and sole of WBC, During these years she discovered her passion for events and creativity. Every year with her team of students she would put up a beautiful and captivating decoration for the event as per the theme. They kept raising their bar every year and WBC soon became the most anticipated event in the biomedical engineering field. From organizing great speakers from the industry to managing different activities in the event and from minute details in sending creative invites to managing hospitality she was personally involved in each and every creative decision. Due to technical reasons, Watumull Institute shut down the biomedical department but Meghna Punjabi had found her MOJO. She decided to pursue the field of event management. Meanwhile, she also completed her M.E. in electronics engineering from Fr. Agnal college, Bandra west with flying colors. Finally, she decided to leave the comfortable job of teaching to pursue her passion full time.

Rise of Privi
Meghna’s experience of conducting such a large-scale event for several years gave her confidence to take a leap of faith. She started her own event management company “Privi Events” as we know it. But what people don’t know is Privi is Meghna’s third child. She has two children. Her elder daughter Prisha and younger son Virajravi and hence the company “Privi”.
Meghna single-handedly manages the entire company. She has strong support from her parents and her family. But initially, Meghna didn’t have enough manpower to work for her. So from designing to purchasing materials from the market to decorating the sight she has done it all on her own with the help of her few close friends and well-wishers… in these years Meghna has seen a lot of ups and downs in the business. But she didn’t give up and stood strong like a rock.
Today Privi is recognized for its personal touch. At Privi we don’t offer fixed standard packaging. Our every packaging is unique. At Privi we touch the heart of people through our work. Meghna is obsessed with perfection and esthetics. Her work speaks volumes about her dedication and hard work.
